Short Bio

Nandita Das has around 12 years of teaching experience at undergraduate and graduate level. She is an Associate Professor of Finance at Delaware State University where she is teaching for 4 years. She teaches Investments, Security Analysis & Portfolio Management, Managerial Finance and Personal Finance. She has successfully integrated technology in traditional classroom environment and she also has expertise in on-line teaching. She is mentoring undergraduate students successfully for over 10 years using student-club as a platform. Her current research focus is Corporate Governance and Entrepreneurial Finance.
Nandita Das researched on Hedge Fund for over 10 years and has published a book based on her doctoral dissertation. She taught at Wilkes University for 5 years and at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania for 2 years. She worked for National Dairy Development Board, India for 8 years. Nandita Das is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a CFP® professional. She has published over thirty papers in journals and conferences. Nandita Das completed her B.Sc. in Dairy Science from Gujarat (Currently, Anand) Agricultural University, India in 1985 and received her MBA from University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada in 1997. She received her MS in Economics in 2000 and Ph.D. in Business & Economics in 2004, both from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA.
