Short Bio

He is a professor of Management (IS), Department of Business Administration, College of Business, Delaware State University (DSU) who has more than 17 years of experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Ole Miss, and Master of Science in Management (MIS) from Iowa State University. Dr. Kim had been an Assistant Professor in MIS at the University of Ulsan that is one of the finest private universities in South Korea before he'd joined at DSU. He taught several courses in MIS there for 5 years. He’s been a tenured Professor at DSU since 2006. He currently teaches undergraduate MIS courses - MIS, DBMS, and Strategic Information System. He also teaches MBA courses - Information & Technology Management, Strategic Information Systems, and Supply Chain Management Systems. His research interest includes but not limited to Ubiquitous Computing, Mobile Computing, Human-Computer Interface, Information Technology Adoption, and Group Support Systems. He has published more than 20 refereed journal articles in the journals such as Information & Management, Academy of Information & Management Sciences Journal, and International Journal of Information and Management. Dr. Kim is serving as an editor of several refereed journals and a member of several editorial boards of refereed journals. He has also served as reviewers for many refereed journals and refereed conference proceedings. Dr. Kim has also served as Chairs of departments in two different universities, an Associate Dean of a Graduate School of Business. He'd received several Distinguished Research Awards and been listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education since 2002. He was also listed in Who's Who among American Teachers in 2006, which should be nominated by a group of students who learned from the teacher. He has a warm heart to students who are involved in his teaching and advising.
